The Cacti Hi-Fi
The Cacti Hi-Fi is a rock band based out of Madison, WI. They’re still young, with only half of their members out of high school. Their sound is easily compared to that of the Burden Brothers, Toadies, Foo Fighters, and occasionally the Drive-By Truckers.
In January 2007 the Cacti released their self-titled debut EP. After I’d produced and engineered the music on the disc, the band approached me to create their album artwork as well. Featuring a logo that I had previously created, the EP’s design was to be as name centric as possible. This was the Cacti’s introduction to the Madison music scene so they needed to proceed on the right foot.
