Bandcast
Bandcast is a fictional service that enables musicians play with each other live over the internet. Using an interface similar to Xbox Live, users will be able to specify the genre, speed, and with which instruments the jam will be played. Unlike Xbox Live, however, Bandcast will be used on people’s computers, leaving Bandcast players to purchase a breakout box that allows them to interface their instrument of choice, be it a guitar, drums, keyboards, or vocals.
As an exercise, I’ve included a quick buildout of the proposed site. It uses one big sprite for all the images in the window.
